Red, like a cherry, Gold like the sand, Green like the grass, all over this land. Pivotal pools two directions they seek, Strong on deception, with no cover I'm weak. The "Red, Gold and Green" reference is from a song by Culture Club, the title being "Karma Chameleon" "Pivotal pools" represent the eyes, the "two directions they seek" show that they are independant of each other. "Strong on deception" states that the animal likes to fool it's prey and predators. and "with no cover i'm weak" states that if there was no camouflage response then basically it wouldn't last very long. The answer then is "A Chameleon"
