A Dropped Composition (Posted on 2005-12-12) Difficulty: 4 of 5
Do our idle morns slow the steady thief of our time? Since spending the lost hours, ready my soul to now die too aged.

What's the secret message?

(In reply to guess, but didnīt get it yet. by pcbouhid)

Ahhh!!!! This has been destroying me for weeks, but I finally got it. Thanks for the last two hints, Bob.

pcbouhid, you're very close with your suggestion of prime numbers. But Bob said the title of the puzzle - A Dropped Composition - gives a hint as to which characters to drop. Not prime numbers, but composite numbers.

There are a total of 92 letters in the message. If you number them in order from 1 to 92 and drop the ones which correspond to composite numbers, you're left with the following:

Doordonotthereisnotryyoda

Add some spacing and punctuation, and voila:

Do or do not. There is no try. - Yoda

I beg to differ, dude. I've been trying to figure out this message for damn ever.

Great puzzle, Bob!
