As pointed out 4 and 9 as composites and the prime 2 are possibilities for A until ruled out-- 4 as a factor of G=8; 9 as a combination of G=3 and 3 as a factor of 111111, and 2 as a factor of G=4,6 or 8.  The point was that A need not have been a factor of 111111, as had seemed to be implied by

Thus, A * BCDEF = G * 3 * 7 * 11 * 13 * 37, and so A must be either 3 or 7.
