Two Armies (Posted on 2006-02-23) Difficulty: 1 of 5
Upon the ruby studded ground
Men faced each other, fat and round
Each one standing, all like drones
Never to touch the precious stones
They march toward each other through the plains
A battle ensues and one remains
One man marches through the dead
And places a crown upon his head
Soon, only one army is left alive

I ask you, what is being described?

My first post, please be kind :-) | Comment 11 of 17 |

I think it is white blood cells fighting off a bacterial infection.

The rubys would be the red blood cells.

The white blood cells and the bacteria are both drawn to look fat and blob-ular in textbooks.  They could easily be considered drones because each is nearly identical to it's own kind.

Bacteria does not attack the blood cells themselves.

Not sure what the crown is all about,,,,
