All of the words in the list have at least one anagram: near, meal, dire, sale, blow, snag, rate, also, rent, ails, abbe (i think that's a word), sore, arch...

However, so do the answer choices, so it's not just that.  Is there a pattern to the way the letters are rearranged?  Or am I way off track looking at anagrams?  It just struck me as odd that they all share this property...
