I'm guessing the "Escape" key on a keyboard:

To escape means the same thing as to flee, although the key won't move until you press it.  If you have computer troubles at work, pressing the escape key can often alleviate them. :)

You see no monkey?  When you look at the key, it only says "Esc" - the "ape" is missing!
