Walking down an escalator (Posted on 2006-03-29) Difficulty: 3 of 5
On a working escalator, one man walking down it took 50 steps. Another man, walking three times faster, took 75 steps.

How many steps would each man take going down the same escalator during a power outage?

Some Thoughts 75 steps upstairs | Comment 5 of 10 |

i would say the answer is 75 steps

saying A the first man went down 50 steps

so B walking 3times faster must have been going up the steps

so if u take A as a constant at 50 steps what would that leave B at if B is 3 times faster
