Some playing cards are being divided into two piles according to a certain rule.

Pile A has

A♥ A♣ 7♥ 9♠ 3♣ 

while Pile B has

A♦ 8♦ 4♠ K♣ 10♥ 

In which pile should the Q♥ be placed according to that rule?

True, Vernon.  More than one version of 7 of diamonds does exist, but so it it of every card -- especially face cards.  The primary deck of 52-cards is the Anglo-American playing cards that provides us with the four French style suits -- spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs -- and have the Aces, the numbered cards 2 through 10 (with the corresponding pips) and the reversible Rouennais court cards.  Though not mentioned, I made the assumption that this primary version was used.  In this version, the 7 of diamonds is offset (though there are card producing companies that publish their own designs.)
