Show that the remainder when 2^1990 (2 to the power of 1990) is divided by 1990 equals 1024.

Levik, I think the solution posted by Charlie with the subject "Step by Step" is correct but I do not know whether the calculations can be reduced a bit more or not ? I mean I do not know whether there exists a simpler solution or not.
