Countries of the World (Posted on 2006-06-09) Difficulty: 3 of 5
In the nine country names below (spelled out in lower case), a c has been used to represent any consonant that does not have an ascender or descender (cmnrsvwxz). A b has been used to represent any consonant that has an ascender (bdfhklt). A g has been used to represent any consonant that has a descender (gjpq). An a represents any vowel other than y (aeiou) and y represents only itself. What are the nine countries?

yacac
gacaaca
acagaay
caaba acabaa
aacbcaa
ab cabcabac
accaab
abgbacacbac
abbaagaa

Yeah, I got the same. Do you think anyone will be able to do it without a list of countries? I couldn't.
