My clock has several moving parts: the three hands and gears inside of it. What clock has the least moving parts? What clock has the most?

I agree with the sundial.
For the most moving parts, how about the earth itself. One can tell the time of day, the time of year etc from observing the earth's relationship to the sun.
Does the make it two or two billion moving parts?
