Clear denominators and factor to get (x-2*2006)(y-3*2006) = 6*2006^2 = 2^3 * 3 * 17^2 * 59^2, which has (3+1)(1+1)(2+1)(2+1) = 72 distinct factors, so 72 is the answer.
