Due on the 15th (Posted on 2006-08-02) Difficulty: 1 of 5
I bought an expensive gift for my wife one year on December 15th. I would not have been able to afford it except the store gave me a 12 month loan. It comes due every 15th of the month for the entirety of this year.

This month it is due on a Friday, last month is was due on a Tuesday, and next month it will be due on a Monday.

What month is it?

If Jan 15th were a monday for normal & leap years following will be the sequence of all the 15th day of months

Normal year

Monday, Thursday, Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday, Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday, Monday Thursday, Saturday

Leap Year

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Monday, Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday, Sunday

Looking at the two the sequence of Tuesday, Friday & Monday is possible only in July August September. Hence this month is August.
