From AREA and AURA, 2A + E = 11 and 2A + U = 26

<o:p> </o:p>

So

     A        E         U

     2         7          22

     3         5          20

     4         3          18

<o:p> </o:p>

It canít be the third option because V is 18.

If A is 2 and E is 7 then L is 21. (ALE)

This canít be right because P is 21 (APPLE)

So A is 3 and E is 5. (This makes W 16.)

<o:p> </o:p>
