It brings up a good point, when is it time for the language to adapt? For example, most people I know say less sometimes when they should say fewer. Does that mean it's more tolerable to say less than another grammar mistake?

It also brings up the point, when is it fine for it just as long as the message is clear? Of course on any academic paper, the spelling/grammar should be right, but in conversation, isn't the idea what's important? Especially on the internet, where English isn't the first language of many people. (I have felt this way when trying to be understood in a non-English language.)

Finally, my guess is Paris Hilton didn't name the Millenium Hilton, and we aren't even sure that they meant to spell it correctly. After all, the people at Google failed in that respect as well.
