David: Just like you are saying that - The second statement however, says plainly, that the first is true and so we should go with the statement that tells the answer plainly. Similarly, I can say that even The first statement, says plainly, that the second is false. This means we should go with this too and that implies both the first and the second statements are true. Isn't it ?
