This is another such irregular shape.

   Eight pairs of these two shapes on the
 _ _  left can form a larger scale shape
   similar to one.

As can be seen thus far, these smaller "sphinges" are made up of squares and "halfsquare" triangles. There are many of these shapes that can be formed.
