1. In regards to the comment about the only people trying to discredit evolution being religious fanatics, I suggest you read the book Evolution: A Theory in Crisis by Michael Denton. It is a scholarly exploration of the rather large number of weaknesses in the framework of evolutionary theory. By the way, the author is not a Christian or in any way a religious fanatic.

2. Regarding the televangelists: its a real pity that some people would choose to represent Christ the way they do. My apologies to you for the way my supposed brothers and sisters in Christ have portrayed my faith to you.
