On the clock (Posted on 2007-03-23) Difficulty: 3 of 5
How many times per day, and at what time(s) do the hour and minute hands on a clock form EXACTLY a 60 degree angle?

Hi

I saw the posted "solution"- and it is totally wrong.

Your list of 22 occurencies is much closer to the truth.

To claim that 60 degrees angle occurs only 4 times during 24

hours is absurd- even assuming the steps-by-quantum ( i.e. non-contiguous) movement by the hands

Please comment.
