Fast clock, slow clock (Posted on 2007-04-11) Difficulty: 2 of 5
At a certain time of day, every day, my clock appears to be an hour fast. At another time of day, it appears to be an hour slow. It is neither fast nor slow. What's wrong with it?

I am looking at my clock, which has no numerals, just marks.

At 11.30 the hands show 12.30 in the mirror and the reverse one hour later.

Now that would also be the case at 5.30 and 6.30.

I must admit that I was somewhat like Penny with regard to time zones.  During our daylight saving period Queensland (Australia) does not sign on. Thus in Coolangatta-Tweed Heads you can walk around the corner from Tweed Heads (NSW) into Coolangatta (Qld) where the time is 1 hour different.
