Three Squares (Posted on 2007-05-03) Difficulty: 2 of 5
I'm looking for a 4 digit square number where its first two digits are a square as are the last two.

What is its square root?

Incidentally, I'm not interested in the square of zero.

Wondered what where you were going:

There are six other four-digit square numbers with the two digit square number pairs that are of no interest to brianjn

but this is in reference to my non-interest in zero.
