Empower And Reciprocate (Posted on 2007-11-24) Difficulty: 2 of 5
g(y) is a continuous function satisfying g(5-y) + g(y) = 0 for 0 ≤ y ≤ 5.

Evaluate:
       5
     (1+ 5g(y))-1 dy
      0

(In reply to re(2): Switching integral! by Chesca Ciprian)

You chose to edit your earlier comment about the "∫" sign.  Looks good.  I understand your difficulties.

Maybe, if you take a look at the text of K Sengupta's puzzle you might find how to make the "& int"  symbol larger, and bold (though you have button in this editor for that).

Apologies, I should have said to look at the "View Page Source" or however your browser tells you how the web page is written.  It sometimes takes a bit to find what you want.  If you are sufficiently comfortable with HTML tags then font size="x"  has been used here.  You might try that around your integral, but don't forget to close with the appropriate font tag!
