The buttons have respective values attached to them which represent the position of letters in the alphabet.
Where two or more buttons reference the same cell in the display the values are added or subtracted in accord with the on/off status of the button.

I am uncertain if I entertained the idea of "REVOLUTION" since I possibly didn't consider 'conflict', a la a detective investigation, I think I noted it in my development but ruled it out.
In recognition of Dej Mar's comment I might have been more cognizant; the three Cell3 values add to 22 and therefore would change "S" into "V". And yes, though I had not given it credence REVOLUTION is a valued solution. |
