Four sevens and one one. (Posted on 2010-09-06) Difficulty: 1 of 5
Using four sevens (7,7,7,7) and a one (1) create the number 100.
You can use not more than three out of the usual mathematical operations (+, -, x, /, sqrt and power) and any amount of brackets.

I did, indeed. The definition of what is allowed is a red herring.

And the hint to solve it  was D1.
