Triangulating a hexagon. (Posted on 2010-11-24) Difficulty: 4 of 5
Drawing 9 diagonals within a regular hexagon ensures that all its vertices are connected.

How many triangles there are in the newly created drawing?

I see that triangles of the type AOC/E were missed, but there are 12 of those and now there's an overcount of 6, so I must have counted some type twice.

Edit: sorry; I take that back--there are still 6 unaccounted for; I was basing this on the different lettering scheme in the reference vs my own.
