Proverbial Wisdom (Posted on 2010-12-09) Difficulty: 1 of 5
One proverb will suitably finish my list. What is it?

Cleanliness is next to godliness.
Hatred is as blind as love.
In times of prosperity friends are plentiful.
Loose lips sink ships.
Diligence is the mother of good fortune.
Revenge is sweet.
Every path has its puddle.
No man can serve two masters.
A monkey in silk is a monkey no less.
Need teaches a plan.
Don't bark if you can't bite.
Friendship is love with understanding.
One swallow doesn't make a summer.
One today is worth two tomorrows.
Let the chips fall where they may.
Stolen fruit is the sweetest.

The first letter of each proverb begins this one:
Children and fools tell the truth.

Clearly there are others mentioned in the comments which would be equally valid, this was the only one that I found in few sources.
