62 - 63 (Posted on 2012-09-30) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Make 62 - 63 = 1 become true, by rearranging the digits in one of the numbers.

What solution(s) are there if moving exactly one line (but no movement of any digit) is allowed?

Solution 62-63 Comment 2 of 2 |
Rearranging Digits ...
2^6 - 63 = 1

Moving one line ...
62 = 63 - 1
