Corner Commencement (Posted on 2012-11-19) Difficulty: 3 of 5
In each of the following, begin at one of the corner squares. Then spiral clockwise round the perimeter filling each blank cell with a letter, whether same or different, to spell out a nine-letter word finishing at the center.

Some Thoughts No Subject Comment 2 of 2 |

I have solved the puzzle while it was on the board and since the list of the 8 words is already published, I see no need to post my identical solution.

I just want to remind all the flooblers that it was a nice idea, albeit  exceptionally easy and the process of solving was performed effortlessly.

On ths structure of the puzzle I have two comments:

a. The subnote about restrictions is meaningless, irrelevant and totally redundant.

b, It could be much better puzzle (justifying D3) if an extra task was added e.g  demanding an anagram of the first letters into three meaningfull words with, say, two vowels added or similar"creative"requirements -

I feel that there was a good potential which was unfortunately wasted.
