Can 1 Dollar = 1 Cent (Posted on 2003-05-03) Difficulty: 3 of 5
1 dollar = 100 cents = 10 cents * 10 cents = 1/10 dollar * 1/10 dollar = 1/100 dollar = 1 cent

Here is the proof that 1 dollar = 1 cent. Is there an error in my calculations?

When you multiplied the 10*10 and said it was equal to 1/10*1/10 AND 100 cents. That cannot be done because it would be like saying 2ax2a=4a, not 4a²
