I truly admire your creativity, but cannot accept "quaternion, which is  NOT an alternative English name for the number 4.

It signifies a set of four, inter alia a set of numbers, never in context
of a a cardinal number ("quaternion seasons"), similar to "triplet", quadruple, n-tuple etc
On the other hand, - nine-thousandths   is more than ok.
