Believe it or not, W.G. wrote to his blind date describing himself:
"…Eyes I have two, ears likewise, fingers I have twenty five
on the right hand, same on the left hand plus ten on my legs…"
Provide a possible explanation to the above.

The author has left out what most likely would have been a colon after the word "twenty", or perhaps a dash or the beginning of parentheses, to be ended just before the word "plus". So W.G. is explaining that 5 of his fingers are on his right hand and 5 on his left.

Why he is calling his toes fingers is still unknown.
