Hobsons choice(?) (Posted on 2013-10-10) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Multiplying cab*car one gets "fur, ciea & bbec"
as partial results;

Multiplying car*cab we get "car, cotu & bbeu" .

Although the final result is the same, it is you who will decide what is better.

Hints/Tips re: I can't believe it's not better! ONE IS | Comment 2 of 9 |

Very nice puzzle! .... Much nicer than you think.

two letters that share the same value,... No,sir. there are are 2 independent alphametics, the letters do not have to correspond to the same sets of digits.

this has no effect on what is better.- as a puzzle one is definitely better than the other, - and it is left to the solver to decide which and why.

Assume that there are no bugs in my text and
either SOLVE IT or WAIT TILL I WILL PUBLISH THE OFFICIAL SOLUTION.
