What possible connection exists between the following sets of words?

Set1= (ady,tzidon)
Set2= (duration, intently, knotting, mutation, Dionysian, rationing)

Because the words in set one are shorter and set two I thought of checking divisibility:

Ady = 1+4+25=30
duration = 4+21+18+1+20+9+15+14=102
unfortunately 102 is not divisible by 30

How about as numbers in base 26?
Ady = 26^2 + 4*26 + 25 = 805
duration = 4*26^7 + ... =  38829151752
not divisible again...
