Oh, I saw the alphametic, and took advantage of it without solving it. I think that this was easier than solving it (d2), although admittedly I didn't try so I can't say for sure.
But glad that you think this was a legitimate approach.
Clever puzzle, by the way. I liked very much how the quote related to the three words in the alphametic.
