One day Kerry celebrated her birthday.

Two days later her older twin brother, Terry, celebrated his birthday.

How can this be, assuming that the difference in twins' ages can be a few minutes, but not over an hour?

Two guesses. 1) Kerry brother was a twin, but not her twin. 2) Kerry and Terry were traveling together and because of time differences, the dates in which they celebrated their birthdays were two days apart.
