Fill in the correct name of the state, solve the alphametic and comment on the puzzle's title.

I was about to post my remark that only 3 states qualify as possible multiplication results: ARKANSAS, DELAWARE, and TENNESSEE,
just due to letter's count (only 2 additional letters to FALSETRU)-

and then I saw DM's solution, claiming the same and providing excellent background  for solving , almost analytically.

It took me about 4 hrs to compose this puzzle and since I like it very much I feel disappointed that the solvers do not rate it - for me it is the only feedback regarding the level of my creativity.
