Four pairs of lords and ladies all went to a royal ball. Each lord was wearing one color (yellow, red, blue, or green) and each lady was also wearing one of these colors. No couple was wearing the same color, so it was hard to tell who was married to who.
Using the clues, can you determine which lord is with which lady?
1. The Green Lord is with the Red Lady, if and only if the Yellow Lord is with the Blue Lady.
2. The Yellow Lord is with the Red Lady if and only if the Green Lord is with the Yellow Lady
3. The Red Lord is with the Blue Lady, if and only if the Green Lord is with the Red Lady.
WARNING: long
I think that the green lord is with the blue lady seeing as he cant b with the red or yellow lady.
the GREEN LORD cant b with the RED LADY because if he's with the RED LADY then the YELLOW and RED LORD would have to b with the BLUE LADY. the GREEN LORD cant b with the YELLOW LADY since that would mean the yellow lord would b with the RED LADY since if it were with the BLUE LADY then that would defy the first statement i said was a flaw or b stuck with its own color. now if yellow is with red then the GREEN LORD then it would again defy the first flaw i stated.
so the YELLOW LORD is with the GREEN LADY.
now the RED LORD is left with either the YELLOW LADY seeing as it cant b with the RED LADY since they are the same color.
RED LORD is with YELLOW LADY
so finally the BLUE LORD is with the RED LADY as the last couple remaining.
