A stranger walks into a bar and puts a pound coin on the counter and asks for half a pint of bitter. The barmaid asks him whether he would like Guinness or Worthington. The stranger asks for Guinness. Another complete stranger comes into the bar, puts a pound on the counter and also asks for half a pint of bitter. The barmaid immediately pulls half a pint of Guinness. How did she know what the second man, who was completely unknown to her, wanted?
(think in a crooked way for this one)
Solution # 1 - The stranger could be a friend of the first stranger and was simply ordering for the the first stranger.
Solution # 2 - The first stranger hadn't been served yet, or at least it doesn't say that he is so she could offer the guiness to the second man and if he refuses simply give it to the first man and pour some worhtington for the second man.
Solution # 3 - The first and second strangers were twins and the barmaid got confused and thought the second twin was the first twin and so gave him a half pint of guiness.
