Thousands of us all around you.
We protect you all the time,
Yet you treat us badly...
You burn us in public buildings
to make you seem better;
You try to make us straight,
but most of us refuse usually;
When we are dead, you are pleased.
Yet, when we are gone, you are sad.
What are we?

I think that you are a pretty good thinker and that the writter was also really good at the wording used in the well thought out piece of work. Here's my short riddle to all who read it.
Cannot be seen, cannot be felt. Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. Sleeps behind bone, and inside heart, and inside heart. And causes man to rip its brain apart. Dwells in the air, and under sea. It lives inside of both you and me.
I'm only a fourteen year old guy so don't say that I have a dreadfull taste in riddling. ArgrnPaul@aol.com
