What is the total percentage of red balls in the jar?

if p is percentage of red balls in the jar, probability that a randomly picked ball is red = p.
for 2 balls picked at random to be red , probability is p*p = 1/2.
Hence , percentage of red balls is square root of 1/2 or 70.7%
