What percentage of the circle is shaded? (The quadrangle shown in the picture is a square with one of the vertices in the circle's center.)

I'm 14 and I had this in my exam last week...

...if the angle is 90 degrees, and the centre of the circle is surrounded my 360 degrees, then it must be 90/360 = 1/4 of the circle, or 25%.
