I was at the hospital waiting for my little cousin to be born. I began talking to another couple. The husband said " My wife just gave birth to 2 babies. They are not twins."
Confused, I said "Huh?".
"Yes" he said, "They were both born today within minutes of each other."
I assumed that they must have been born in different years but he assured me that this was not so. I figured out what the deal is with these babies. Can you?
One possible answer is that they are two of a larger set of same-birth babies: triplets, quads, quints, etc.
