Six friends were playing a game of indoor soccer together, but got into a fight during their game. Upset with each other, they decided to position themselves in the (square) 300x300 foot gymnasium so as to maximize the distance between the closest pair. Where should they each stand?
The initial thought remains the same, only the distance between the nearest pair will not be 157.
I just divided the perimeter of the ( inscribed ! ) circle by six... whereas, the friends would effectively be standing at the vertices of a regular Hexagon. So the distance would actually be less than 157
But still, it would be Equidistant...
