There are 3 cans containing different foods.
Nuts in one can.
Sliced Peaches in juices in another and the third can contains sliced oranges in juices.
Someone has steamed off and switched the labels of all the cans so every can will have a label that is not the actual food inside it.
Can you figure out which cans contain which foods without opening any?

a pound of feathers takes up MORE volume than a pound of gold... because of the density.
because the labels were interchanged... one COULD assume the cans are the same size (not necessarily the same weight). but in reality... they could easily be differing by height and not diameter (for the labels to fit).
my point? you DON'T need to concern yourself with this because if you follow the other solutions, it much easier. the can the rattles is nuts, then rotate labels. or take the remaining two cans and tap them... the one with slices in juice will make a different sound than the one with just slices. even tapping the can with nuts will produce a different sound than the other two.
and as for the original post of "3cans guess"... which weighs more sliced peaches or sliced oranges IN JUICES? i'm thinking the one with juices.
