10 trees (Posted on 2002-04-21) Difficulty: 2 of 5
You are working for a farmer, who gives you ten trees to plant. He tells you:

"I want you to plant these ten trees in five rows. There must be exactly four trees in each row. "

How do you plant the trees?

so we can use "nobody said" clauses now? Well then, nobody said that there weren't already 10 other trees in 2 rows of five already, so by planting the others next to them in the same way, the orchard is organized in four rows of five.
