A pitcher comes into a baseball game in the first inning, he strikes out 27 straight batters all the way through 9 innings, not a single hit, run, walk, error, interference, or hit-by-pitch was recorded. There were no recording errors. His ERA (earned run average) and WHIP (walks/hits per inning pitched) were both 0.00, his team DID NOT forfeit, yet his team lost the game, why?

Why did all this get by me? I must be slipping in my old age. The God of Flooble did not notice these replies to one of his first posts till now.
My real beef with this problem, all joking aside, is that is incorrect. The problem states that "not a single hit, run, walk, error, inteference, or hit-by-pitch was recorded" This part of the problem makes the whole thing fall apart.
Nikki, you are amazing and I listen to every word you say. You are my everything.
Thalamus, way to set the example by trying to insult me several time over. I do have a gigantic ego, and yes, my penis is below average in length. My looks are sub-par, and nothing makes me feel better then bashing others because of my own insecurties.
ZING! you got me dead bang!
Now the God of Flooble will go kill himself because you made me feel bad... (not really, casue I am too cool to commit suicide, the world of flooble would be lost without me)
