I've a chessboard of side 80cm.
You've a coin of diameter 2cm, and you throw it on to the chessboard. The center of the coin falls somewhere on the chessboard.
What is the likelihood that the coin is completely within a white square?

The solutions presented so far do in fact include cases where the coin can overlap the edge of the board.
In my solution, for example, the 6400 cm^2 in the denominator of the fractional probability, which is the area of the whole chessboard, includes the outer 1-cm-wide strip, where the center can fall while part of the coin is overlapping the edge of the board.
