Cut an 8 inch by 8 inch square into 4 congruent pieces along the lines so that each piece has one * on it, though not necessarily in the same spot on every piece.

The solution I have found is 4 spiral arms:

One of them is marked by x's the others are rotations of 90, 180, 270 degrees of this one.
