There are two black rooks on the chessboard and a white chess king that tries to violate the chess rules, that is tries to move into a position which it would be in check. Can the king force itself into check or can the two rooks avoid check indefinitely?
What if there are three rooks?
I didn't realize it while this problem was in the queue, but only just noticed that it's important to know the initial position. If the rooks are at a1 and c1, and the king is at b1, obviously it will be able to put himself in check. Who picks the initial position?
