I also noted that the sequence is 1,000,000 in different bases. The tip off was the lack of large digits, and the greater number
of digits in the earlier members of the sequence.
But here's an excerpt from Charlie's print out:
"The representation of one million in odd bases, starting with 3 are:
3 1212210202001
5 224000000
7 11333311
9 1783661
11 623351
13 290221
15 14B46A
17 BG939"
Note that the base 9 version of 1 million does not
appear in the sequence. So I believe there is
another sequence within the sequence,
that of the bases.
The bases used are 3,7,11,13. So we need to figure
the next base in the sequence; I think it is the sequence
of odd primes, so I think the next base is 17.
If true then the next number in the sequence is BG939.
